Spirit Week

This week was Spirit Week at school! We got into the spirit, ear infections and all. We forgot to take pictures of the latter part of the week - but you only missed PJ day, sports day (They wore their Cubs stuff, G!), and something else I totally can't remember. Hm.

Here is Henry on crazy hair day. This was the day we went to the doctor and found out he had a double ear infection, so he looks pitiful:

Fun facts about the boys this week.....they are both pulling up onto their knees now. Henry has figured out how to go from crawling position back to sitting. He is SOOOOOO close to crawling, it's ridiculous. I bet it will happen this week. They both are bouncing a lot and they love to bounce in their exersaucers. Another post?!

I know, it's shocking that I have the time to post twice in one day....but here we are!!!

The boys had their first big boy bath today in the big tub. They had a great time!!!

We love to play!

We had a storm last night and the tree in our front yard blew down! Todd and I were watching it as it happened - it was cool! (Glad it didn't blow the other way!!!)

Post 101

Just realized this is the hundred and first post on the blog! Yay!

Our camera has been acting up lately but here are a few picture from today. First, a picture of our sick boys. They are pitiful!!!

We went to the Catoctin Zoo today, and it was a good time. The weather was beautiful, and the zoo was nice. Here are some of the animals we saw:

Busy bees

We have been pretty busy lately with Mom's new job and new hours! Henry and Owen are getting adjusted to a new daycare, although Henry is sick. He has a rough cold that turned into a bit of pinkeye today. He and Daddy got to have a "fun" day together this afternoon while Owen and Mom stayed at work. The doctor said he could return tomorrow, so hopefully he will be feeling a bit better soon. He's milking it, that's for sure - lots of cuddling and whining. Poor baby!



On another note, he weighed 18 pounds today at the doctor - that was with a wet diaper and clothes on, but still!!



Everything else is going well. Will try to post more pictures this week or weekend. :)

flashbacks and weekend

ok, ok....let's just get his out of the way: Yes, I wore the same dress to 3 weddings.

Happy 8 months!!!

This weekend, we went to Richmond for Kerry Johnson's wedding. Saturday we went to the Richmond Children's Museum (Note to self: Don't ever go here again.) and then to lunch. Here are some pictures from the museum:

Saturday night we went to the wedding and it was, as Mom would say, hotter than the hinges of hell. I thought we were going to suffocate or roast. One of the groomsmen even fainted. It was absolutely ridiculous.

On the other hand, it was totally gorgeous and we had a fun time hanging out. The setting was at Tredegar Iron Works in Richmond and it was just beautiful. I doubt my camera captured the beauty, but here's an idea:
