Calm down, lady

Oh my goodness. Someone at the zoo today told me I didn't need to be so mad (after she rammed me with her stroller not once, not twice, but three times!!) (And it hurt!!!) and I said "I can't go any faster!" while the panda bears were wrestling and oh so cute, but we couldn't get through the crowd (of a million Asians), and then her husband told me to "Calm down, lady" after the stroller witch told him that I was being mean to her. But! But! But! You hit me with your stroller, you loon! And seriously? Did you sharpen the front of your graco duoglider into a dagger just so you can get mean people out of your way?

About 20 minutes later, I said to Todd, "Man, I really wish I had told them to fuck off."

(I feel like I can blog-swear now....Grandma June can't voice her disapproval out loud anymore...I hear her in my head, but I can handle that. It's kind of nice, actually.)

Zoo pictures to come. We didn't get that many because Owen had LOST. HIS. MIND. But I did get one of the cute pandas wrestling, before I was nearly mowed down by crazy and her duoglider of death.

The Pool 360

Since the pool opened this year, the boys have refused to put on their bathing suits and go to the pool. I have been in a panic because I can't imagine not going to the pool at least 3 times a week during the summer. Finally, on Sunday, Todd and I decided to TELL them we were going to the pool, not ASK them. We went. They LOVED it. Today, it was all they talked about and Henry threw a FIT to get his bathing suit on and go to the pool. We had to drag them out of the water and into the wagon home. I am relieved we can now go to the pool...but now worried about the fits they will throw when I say "no."

Charlotte's shower

My friend Keli threw Charlotte and me an adorable baby shower this past weekend. It was so cute and lovely and such a great time. We played some cute games and Charlotte got some wonderful gifts!!!

Last weekend, Todd ran the Ashburn Twilight 4-miler. They had a band and food, and the boys and their girlfriend Anna danced the night away. Here is a shot of their cool moves:
And here is Charlotte saying, "What the heck are you guys doing?":

They also had a big moonbounce slide that Henry went down 3 times by himself. This is the picture right before Owen chickened out at the top of the slide and cried his way back down the stairs. All the people in line were veerrrry pleased with us.

Here is good big brother Henry taking care of his little sister.
