....coming tomorrow.

We have so many pictures from Thursday to Sunday that they are taking forever to upload. Check back on Monday and hopefully they will finish while we sleep tonight!!!

While you wait with bated breath, here's a sneak peek at the fun we had, though....Owen being goofy:

Decluttering update...

So....yesterday as I began #2 on my week's list (clean kitchen cupboards. Double yikes.), the boys played with Tupperware, and we enjoyed the spring breeze from the kitchen window, I realized something in the cabinet just wasn't right.

Remember this?

Well Mickey apparently has been hiding out in the kitchen cupboards. GAG ME.
I freaked a bit, then freaked some more. Todd got home, and I freaked some more. Then he vacuumed it out for me, I bought some new mouse traps, and that was that.

But besides that....get this......we got rid of SO. MUCH. STUFF. A nasty old blender, a decrepit Brita pitcher, a butt load of utensils, some disgusting cutting boards, and some other random crap that was living in the mouse den. Plus some old spices, some bowls we don't use, and some other great things for a yard sale that we haven't touched since we lived here.

Oh, and this morning, the traps were empty.
Great.

Earth Day Walk

We took an Earth Day walk today to check out the blooms in our 'hood. Got some cute pictures, including the one below by the poem. "ooooooooooh," as the boys would say.

Tanka Tuesday

A "Tanka" is a Japanese form of poetry, similar to a haiku. The form is 5/7/5/7/7. Add your own tanka in the comments section!

To Do Tanka
Juggling everything.
Schoolwork, brothers, cooking, too.
(don't mention cleaning).
Something different to juggle
would be nice. Flaming torches.

Decluttered week 2

OK I reeeeeally stink at this challenge.
This past week....I forgot about the challenge. But then yesterday I gave THREE HUGE BAGS of baby clothes to a local children's charity. That counts, right???

On tap for this week:
1. The medicine cabinet. Yikes.
2. The kitchen cabinets. Double yikes.
3. The boys current clothing issue. Triple yikes.

A good decluttering tip of which I can't remember the source. Take a box into your kitchen and dump all of your extra utensils (spatula, big spoons, extra knives, etc) and keep it on your counter for a week or two. Anything you take out an use, put into a drawer. Anything that remains in the box after the time is up.....ADIOS!

Anyone else decluttering?

I guess it was too easy.....

OK, so Bethany wins the prize! She is the first one who identified the "toys" the boys were playing with as miconozole tubes. Gross, I know...but clean! We got the cream for Owen's diaper rash (Dr. Love swears by 1/3 Monistat, 1/3 Desitin and 1/3 Hydrocortisone) and the tubes were extra toys. I didn't think it was that obvious, but I guess it is....

Bethany, email me the picture you want a poster of and your address and I will get it sent off ASAP! GOOD JOB!

(Sorry, JK....you were just too slow.....)

A year ago today

Walking down memory lane for a second.....where did my little babies go????

Agode!

The boys and I went out last night with our friends E and Kelz. They were KIND OF being terrors at dinner, but we had a good time anyway. Loved when the waiter gave them mints...ummmm....they are 1, doofus! Loved when Owen fell down in the mall and slammed his face on the ground (he has a small bump today) and did the silent scream. Loved when I had to yell at an older kid at the mall playground to "stop growling at my son. He's just a baby. Get out of the way." Good times.

That last picture is a tickle shot. :) The picture with E made me think of THIS.

Bathtub woes

I took an epsom salt bath. It was a humiliating experience. But it actually did help my symptoms. Unfortunately, shoving my fat ass into a m...
