'fessing up (it's a contest, people)

My most embarassing.
As a music teacher, I celebrate March as Music in our Schools Month. (This year the boys and I will just pretend). One year, I videotaped all the classes in our school for the school news show. Each class did a song that we had practiced. This one particular day, a few parents had come in to watch the news with their kids because their class was on the news. Roll tape. As I am listening to it from my desk, I think "jeez, I can't believe how bad they sound." And then it happened....my voice on the tape, frustrated, angry, and surprisingly calm (in an eerie way): "I have told you eight million TIMES NOT TO FORGET THE WORDS-" Just then, the tape is cut off and I am sprinting to the newsroom. Apparently, someone forgot to cue up the tape. And that someone was me. Everyone in the school, including the principal, visiting parents, and every student and teacher enjoyed my performance that morning. Just humiliating. Thank goodness they cut it off when they did because I may have said much, MUCH worse things.

My principal after the incident: "Well, Jane. I guess I won't use that tape as a classroom observation. We'll just pretend it never happened." (and not in a funny way....)

Off to the doctor again...
The boys are still puking and having diarhea, so we are off to see the doctor again today at lunchtime. Frustrating! Hopefully we can figure out what is up with them and what we can do to help them. Poor babies.
In the meantime, we are enjoying:

UPDATE: Got back from the doctor....no new information, really. He thinks it might have turned into rotavirus. He suggested we give up all food, but that's not gonna happen!! :) The boys like food too much. We'll just try to ride it out and see what happens. He said that if they are still having problems in a week he'd refer us to a GI specialist. I just hope they get better soon for Daddy's birthday party this weekend!!!

ANOTHER UPDATE: A pic of my poor Henry! He is feeling the worst today, Owen was yesterday. He took a pillow off the couch, put it on the floor, and I managed to snap a quick shot of him. :(

Lazy days...
We've been having some lazy days lately, trying to get over our stomach flus. Henry had a trip to the ER for a cut in his mouth, but he's fine. And Owen has been clinging to his Mommy for dear life! We think they are feeling yucky still, but are in good spirits.
Here are some shots of us hanging out at home the past few days. We did make it out for library class today, but other than that, we've had some PJ days and relaxing times.
Here's Henry, sitting in his book basket. He loves books.
Some new words from the boys: "All done!" and "Uh Oh!" Both are said at least 25 times a day. Such big boys!
