calvin and the boys
Here is the before picture!
And here he is after:
We attempted to go swimming yesterday, but the boys hated it. They looked cute in their too big suits, though.

Silly Owen
I only caught one toy on video, but Owen spends ALL day doing this, toy after toy. He throws the milk down there, clothes, anything he can find. This has to stop, people!
Serious Henry
This video makes me laugh because Henry is so serious. I catch him thinking like this about once a day. Such an introspective soul. And no, he's not pooping.
Pessimist or Optimist Quiz
You Are a Realist |
You don't see the glass as half empty or half full. You see what's exactly in the glass. You never try to make a bad situation seem better than it is... But you also never sabotage any good things you have going on. You are brutally honest in your assessments of situations - and this always seems to help you cope. |

eggin' it up
We had fun dying eggs this morning. Henry (below) took it VERY seriously. After we finished dying, we painted a bit with the leftover colors. We had a few casualties, but since Mom left the eggs in the pan all night long without refrigerating them, we enjoyed our beautiful job then tossed them out. The boys had blast.
We'll be sure to take a picture of Todd's egg, which he has left soaking in the yellow all day. (Leave it to the Jew to go all out with the egg dying).

RAHM
These are both by Kris Radish - Dancing Naked at the Edge of Dawn and The Sunday List of Dreams. Both were easy reads, on the verge of trashy, and pretty much had the same plotline. Quick and easy - "plane reading". :)
This one I read on Wednesday night and it scared the crap out of me! An Absolute Gentleman by R. M. Kinder. It's about a serial killer and it scared me a lot because it was from the killer's point of view. It made my insomnia worse.
My favorite read so far was Kurt Vonnegut's A Man Without a Country. Loved loved loved it. A recommendation by Dad, of course. Todd loved it, too.
Right now I am reading another Vonnegut - Hocus Pocus. So far, so good.
I have read more, but I have reached my allotted internet time, according to the sounds and smells emanating from the boys. "mmmmmm".
