feeding a goat

Not the best quality (it was from my phone, we forgot all cameras and videocameras, such dummies) but here's a vid of Henry and Todd feeding the goats at the Catoctin zoo today. Henry was a brave boy and fed an emu, some goats, many ducks and geese, and a llama. Owen wasn't a fan of the feeding, but loved the turtles. Henry laughed so hard when the emu ate out of his hand, I will eternally be kicking myself for not having the videocamera. Sigh.

Why do all the best video and picture moments occur when we forget our camera's. I swear I'm going to keep a disposable in the diaper bag permanently for exactly those types of moments.
It really looks like you had a great time. The kids are soooo adorable. Petting an emu sounds like something our kids would love to do. Glad you had a fun outing!

It looks like you are going to have to get an emu enclosure now. Some kids want puppies. I'm afraid Henry is not going to ask for an emu. Look at it this way, one emu egg will feed your entire family at breakfast. Think of the grocery savings!

Hey! Thanks for the comment! I do have some pictures but I havn't worked on them yet. I'll have to make a cd and send them to the fam. I'll also have to send you a link to our other blog. Maybe one day when we are back east we'll have to have a photo shoot! :) You're boys are adorable. I hope you are still feeling well and everything is going well with baby girl coming. Talk to you soon.

awww, that is so cute. Bummed about the lack of camera for you, but at least you were able to document this for them. One day they'll read this and even if there aren't pics, they'll know they had a great time.

I always forget my camera, or can't find it, when the cutest things are happening. Henry and Owen are too darn cute! Hey, at least goats don't scare them, right ...
