Holy screaming, Batman!

The boys had their first (almost) full day at daycare. I dropped them off at 8:00 and Mr. Magoo's eyes filled with tears as he lifted his arms and cried "Uppa! Uppa!" It was heartbreaking. But I called at lunchtime, and Ms. Chrissy said they were doing great and only cried a minute or two after I left. She also said they were having trouble getting them down for a nap. Uh oh....

So, T and I picked them up and they had not had a nap. They were so tired, with bags under their eyes and lots of eye-rubbing. We made it home and Mr. Man fell asleep on my lap while we waited for Friday Pizza. That was a mistake. He woke up and brought his nightmares with him....screaming, throwing himself around, clinging to me for dear life. Poor baby was so tired he just didn't know what to do with himself.

They went to bed at 6:40. Too early?

Tuesday Update: We just got word that she was taken off the ventilator! Hopefully she makes this transition well and can concentrate on getting rid of her cancer. Her Mom's blog is here.

It was the anchovies, right? You ordered anchovies on the pizza and it sent him over the edge. Bad mommy. You know he's going to tell everyone at daycare about it on Monday.

It will get better. It's funny how attached our boys are to mama, we must be doing something right:)
